ABOUT US

RichArt Graphics has been an important resource for advertising agencies, designers, architects and corporate in-house graphics departments for almost 60 years.

In the beginning our signs, posters and displays were hand painted, the photos were black and white with color added by our artists, and computers only existed in science fiction movies. RichArt's work was seen at the Fox, Mastbaum, Arcadia and Stanton theatres, burlesque houses, political events and local businesses.

HISTORIC RICHART PHOTOS

When photos were black and white and computers not yet invented, RichArt Graphics produced enormous displays and full color images.

Political Convention Display
Black and white multi-sectioned photo mounted to homosote, colored by hand, contour cut, with display supports. Also note the RichArt sign which was hand painted.

Burlesque Theatre Marquee
Hand lettered marquee, black and white photo hand colored, contour cut, with display supports. Various "showcards" which were hand painted can also be seen. The theatre was on the boardwalk in Atlantic City (year approximately 1950).
Franks Soda Water Early TV Commercial
The city of soda water bottles was hand painted. Free standing bottles and cans were a combination of photos with hand painting on paper which were wrapped around cylinders.
Bank Vault Display
Black and white photo enlargement, mounted to homosote, contour cut, with wood fabrication.

Since those beginnings, technology has revolutionized the graphics industry and RichArt Graphics has remained a leader. Many years ago we added Screen printing to our repertoire of skills. Today we print on an unlimited number of substrates from small to large sizes for posters, banners, displays and transit advertising.

RichArt's custom photo lab has evolved into a state of the art facility. Color and black and white prints and transparencies as well as Duratrans and Duraflex prints are among our services. We also produce digital negatives along with extensive Pre-press, retouching, electronic imaging and manipulation.

The Founder of RichArt could not have imagined that in the 21st century RichArt would be a leader in large and grand format digital output. From your file we output directly to dazzling full color continuous tone images printed up to 1800 DPI on numerous stocks as wide as 98" by whatever length you need. Banners * posters * signs * pressure sensitive decals * presentations * backlit displays * train platforms * bus shelters * trade show graphics * canvas art prints * wall murals.... the applications are virtually unlimited.
