| What is Digital Output? |
Computer information goes directly to large or grand format
printers that have printheads which output 4/color process.
DPI (dots per inch) can vary widely from 300 DPI to an apparent
1800 DPI which vastly affects the quality of your image. Fortunately
at RichArt we have the latest machines with eight color heads
that produce the finest DPI available today.

| Can you scan my images? |
Yes. And we can also do any other pre-press you may need
such as design or image manipulation.

| What are your size limitations? |
Our printers are up to 98" wide by any length. Of course
for even larger needs we can tile images.
|
| What materials can you print on? |
Paper, scrim vinyl, soft fabrics, backlit film, pressure
sensitive vinyl, static cling vinyl, canvas, weather weave,
wet-strength paper, Tyvek ® and even directly on rigid
stock such as foamcore.

| When should I use digital output? |
Use when you need one of a kind and short run banners, posters,
decals, signs, and trade show displays. Also great for transit
posters, fleet graphics, building wraps and outdoor signage
utilizing our grand format printers.

| What if my job needs to be on another material? |
RichArt can mount to Sintra, Gatorfoam ®, foamcore, acrylic,
styrene, masonite and more in addition to lamination. If your
printing must be directly on a specialty substrate please
visit our screen printing page.

| How should I set up my file? |
For best possible results provide CMYK files. We can also
accept RGB files. Scanned images should be scanned at no less
that 300 DPI at 1/4 size of the final printed piece. For more

| How do I submit my files? |
We accept files on CD-R, ZIP (250 & 100 MB), DVD-R, send
us your file directly through our File

| What is Screen Printing? |
Screen printing is a process where the action of a squeegee
passing over a mesh stencil forces ink onto a wide variety
of substrates including both rigid and flexible stocks.

| What are the advantages of screen printing? |
Screen printing is the best choice when you need opacity,
brilliance of color and durability of inks even in exposure
to outdoor elements. It is ideal when you want direct printing
on rigid materials like plastics, wood, or metal.

| What are your size limitations? |
Our largest screen size is 8' x 4'.

| How should I set up my file? |
If your job is 4/color process provide CMYK files. Scanned
images should be at no less than 300 DPI at 1/4 size of the
final printed piece.

Yes. We can also match your swatch. If you are concerned
about precise color we can provide a drawdown on your specific
stock for your approval.

|
Yes. You can get a small proof at minimal charge.

| Can you package and drop-ship my job? |
Yes. Quotes are priced FOB RichArt conveniently packed. We
can collate, package and ship at additional cost.
